Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library’s 18th Annual Large Lots Auction. This is a LIVE AUCTION that will be held in the Meeting Annex Room Saturday, October 28, 2023, beginning at 11:00 AM. This auction features 272 lots of stamps or covers in albums, on album pages, and in stock books; commemorative or thematic collections; bulk cover lots; cover collections in albums; miscellaneous philatelic material; supplies (assorted empty albums and pages, stamp mounts, etc.); ephemera; and philatelic books. In arriving at a value for these lots, we have combined the estimated value of the album, pages, and stamps, or covers, where applicable. Where pertinent, we have provided the face value of the stamps in a lot.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE LOTS

-Unless it is specifically stated, all albums listed in the lots have pages which require stamp hinges or mounts.

-There are numerous lots in this auction featuring Palo album pages. They are all brand new, sometimes in their original shrink wrap packaging. They all feature  stamp illustrations in color and are laid out according to the order of the SC catalog.  Please note that Palo pages are designed to fit only in Palo albums.

-Assume that the condition of albums, album pages, etc. is very good or better.  If there is a problem with the condition of any item in the lot, it will be stated in the lot’s description.

VIEWING INFORMATION

In-person viewing of the lots will be available in the Meeting Annex Room from Monday, October 23rd through Friday, October 27th during normal Library business hours.
