UNITED STATES CINDERELLAS: EKKO Broadcasting radio stamp album (published in 1924) with spaces for all participating radio stations in the U.S., Canada, Cuba, and Mexico. Approximately 160 different stamps present (the album is 25% complete). Printed by the American Banknote Company, EKKO developed these stamps as a marketing tool. Because radio was a new form of technology and immensely popular at that time, these stamps became quite sought after. Although the album is damaged and many of the stamps are stuck to the pages, it is still noteworthy as being the original hardcover album. EKKO radio stamps are seen selling on eBay for $6-15 each, and some of the rare ones go for $100 and up.
