Do you ever think about becoming a part-time stamp dealer? If so, this lot would be a great starting point. Over 10,000 different U.S. and foreign stamps, all identified by SC numbers and in glassines. This was a dealer’s stock, so there is obvious duplication. Much of the material is of minimal value, of course, but there are a significant number of better stamps. An inventory list is included, which shows the number of stamps in the $1-5, $5-10, $10-25, $25-50, $50-100, and $100-up ranges. You can have the cabinet in which the glassines are stored, provided you come to the RMPL and pick it up.

All of them feature attractive cachets designed by William Grandy. 28 of the covers have stamps from the 1932 Washington bicentennial issue (all of them are postmarked Dec. 14 1932 from different states). There are a handful of prexy philatelic covers (one with 4 horizontal coils, another with 10 vertical coils). Finally, there are about 15 FDCs (SC 838, 852-54) with slight differences.
