BIDDING PROCEDURES<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       -Bidders will be\nassigned a number to remain anonymous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       -All lots will\nbe sold to the highest bidder. The bidder is responsible for any errors in\nbidding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 –<\/strong>For the Feb and Sep auctions the highest bidder takes the lot at one advance over the next highest bid, as hammered down by the auctioneer. The May auction is “silent” so the lot is sold to the highest bidder at the bid amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      -An RMPL volunteer serves as agent bidder for all absentee bids. Absentee bids are not revealed to anyone, except in the bidding process. The volunteer does not know who the absentee bidder is, only the assigned bidder’s number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      -In the event of a tie between the high floor bidder and an absentee bidder, one advance over the highest floor bid will be taken, with preference to floor bidders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      – If an absentee bid is the only bid received for a lot and it is more than the starting bid, the lot shall be sold to the absentee bidder at the starting bid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       -Unspecified\namount \u201cbuy bids\u201d will not be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       <\/strong>-Lots\nfailing to receive a bid will be withdrawn for future disposal\/auction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      ** NO BUYERS PREMIUM WILL BE CHARGED<\/strong> **    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are unable to attend the live auction, there are four ways to submit bids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Drop off a completed bid sheet at the Library.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Bid by email at RMPLAuctionManager@gmail.com<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Bid online using the Online Bid Sheet<\/a> to place your bids.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Bid by mail. Send bid sheet to: Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library, 2038 S. Pontiac Way, Denver, CO  80224. Please put \u201cAttention Auction Manager\u201d on the front of the envelope.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    PAYMENT<\/p>\n\n\n\n

         <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Payment may be made by cash, check, Visa, or Master Card.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. ALL bidders, whether successful or not, will be notified (by phone or email) by 4:00 p.m. Wednesday following the conclusion of the auction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Payment is expected when the lot(s) are picked up, or within 2 weeks of notification for absentee bidders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Colorado residents will be charged 4.25% sales tax.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Shipping will be via the U.S.P.S. at a cost to be determined.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING ON ORDERS TOTALING $175.00 AND ABOVE.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. If a winning absentee bidder wishes to have a purchase insured, we must be notified of this. The bidder will incur the cost.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      FINAL NOTES<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      All images are scanned on a high quality scanner. Please note that there may be slight differences in the color resolution between monitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
